Saturday, October 15th – The Tibet House will host the Maitreya Project Heart Shrine Relic Tour all weekend long. The relics from this tour have been discovered among the cremation ashes of Buddhist masters over millennia, including the historical Shakyamuni Buddha, his closest disciples, and adepts of various Buddhist traditions. Most of these relics resemble beautiful pearl-like crystals and have been perceived by numerous visitors to transmit blessings and healing to the mind and body. ( Tibet House )

Sunday, October 16th – Dances of Vice invites all fellow retro-futurists, cyberpunks, renegade replicants and starlight criminals to a night of glittering neo-Tokyo glamour at their tribute to the 1982 cult classic ’Blade Runner’, featuring a cavalcade of thrilling live bands, dancers, fashion shows, and DJs. Saturday, October 15th – It’s Hockey Night in America as the New York Rangers take on the New York Islanders. The Rangers are looking tremendous this season, but will the boys from the island surprise us all? It’s time to get back into Hockey New Yorkers! Saturday, October 16th – It may be sold out but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to score a ticket for progressive punkers Thrice as they melt faces at New York’s Irving Plaza. Also, you may have seen the movie but now see the real thing. It’s Paul Green’s “The School of Rock” Best of the Season show at the Highline Ballroom. You will marvel at how brilliant these kids are, while you bang your head!
